“Martin Luther” Lyrics:

40!
Yeah
Ay-ay-ay-o
40M, it’s lit (x7)
They call me V – Yeah
If it’s war I’m going in – Yeah
Everything 40M
No need to pretend
Dr. Clarke said we ain’t got no friends – Yeah
Everything 40M
They say our chances looking slim
And the future’s looking grim
But b**** we going for the win
Everything 40M
F*** a jewelry, drop gems
And free all of my dawgs in the pin – Yeah
Everything 40M

Malcolm, Martin Luther
About to start a revolution
Target, shooter
Use your own kind to come and do ya’
Bag all on ya’ medulla
King had a dream
Turned nightmare Freddy Krueger
Strapped with the k, no we don’t play
Malcolm peeping out the window
Cops will kill for my skin tone
So I’m clutching every time the wind blow
PTSD got us traumatized
How many more of us got to die
You run up on me and it’s homicide
Cause we shooting back n**** bottom line
Yeah

If it’s war I’m going in – Yeah
Everything 40M
No need to pretend
Dr. Clarke said we ain’t got no friends – Yeah
Everything 40M
They say our chances looking slim
And the future’s looking grim
B**** we going for the win
Everything 40M
F*** the jury, drop gems
And free all of my dawgs in the pin – Yeah
Everything 40M

Mumia, Assata
The Bobbys and Khalid Muhammad
Swear there be no more silence
Swear there can be no non-violence
You hear the violins – mixed with the malice so cold and callous
That’s over 400 years and counting
And you wonder why n***** be wildin’
Fake supremacy keeping us colonized
They don’t need your body when they got your mind
If I’m out of pocket then you out of line
Yeah home base, I’m a slide for mine
PTSD got us traumatized
How many more of us got to die
Run up on me and it’s homicide
Cause we shooting back n***a bottom line – Yeah

If it’s war I’m going in – Yeah
Everything 40M
No need to pretend
Dr. Clarke said we ain’t got no friends – Yeah
Everything 40M
They say our chances looking slim
And the future’s looking grim
But b**** we going for the win
Everything 40M
F*** a jewelry, drop gems
And free all of my dawgs in the pin – Yeah
Everything 40M

Artist Biography:

Philadelphia built, Carolina made revolutionist V of 40M aka the architect of “revolutionary rap” has been setting the culture ablaze since his world introduction a little more than 2 summers ago. As the frontman of 40M, also referred to as Forty Million Strong, a black Independence people’s movement geared towards self-sufficiency, self-determination and autonomy for Melanites or “Blacks.” Staying true to the mission, V has implemented the movement into every aspect of his music and has also brought his fellow “M’s” with him. Though the movement is his focus, the music has become an important piece in connecting the “M’s” with the people on a large scale. As he explains in multiple interviews, the purpose of the V of 40M art is to inspire, inform, motivate and mobilize the masses. And from music he can reach those who may be currently unreachable in speech. From his debut release, “No Church on Sunday,” until his latest “The Score,” V has yet to stray. Fast forward a couple million streams and countless co-signs and features later, it’s safe to say that the 40M movement is moving with the emphasis on the “M.” And we’re absolutely sure that if it’s up to V, it’ll be towards revolution and independence. Heavy on the 4’s!
