The song was originally supposed to feature the late Chino XL. After he passed, Precha didn’t feel that adding another artist or a second verse would be appropriate.
“Dead Poet Society” Lyrics:
Yeah
It’s Precha
Now Entertainment
We got that mother fucker
Xpression
Off up in this bitch
It’s about to go down
You already know
Rest in peace Chino XL
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
All across the map with a backpack and a Glock 30
Traveled to 48 states up late night working
Still up early with the birdies
Chopping heads off of serpents
Like it’s Sunday morning service
Your act belongs in a circus
Seen turbans wrapped tighter than your verses
Gone for one-year things back home went topsy turvy
Lord have mercy had to curve it
It ain’t worth it I ain’t deserve it you hurt me you did me dirty
But you’re going to eat your words though
I’m the shit ho
They plane Jane number two’s
I’m a coloring pencil
And insults don’t mean nothing to me
Let the credentials speak by golly
Shadow boxer training to stop the yard
Ain’t no blocking me ain’t no stopping me na
That’s like Kano or kung lao tangling with Kabal
Show you how to play the game like my name was Jigsaw
See I’m in the lab cooking up crack
High time I leak it to the streets
And supply the fiends what they’ve been lacking
Rather than babbling in the booth
Speaking the truth old fashioned
Buy some glasses get a study buddy and stay in class ya lil bitch
You ain’t a factor I’ll send both of my sons to bitch slap ya
Then capture it all on camera mix that smack into a track and have your fans dance to it
Like slide to the left little bitch
Slide to the right
Get down with the get down or sit down
And shut the fuck up let us show you how to do it right
Can’t think for yourself
Robot brainwashed
Comparing me to you is like Walmart to Kmart
Ain’t no mistaken we some alphas you a bata
Bout to son these bums just for fun Darth Vadar
Cold Mc never show no sympathy
Every 16 bars turn into a murder scene
You want the smoke we got the remedy
This the dead poet society
Underground MC’s never show no sympathy
We just kill em off that’s the mentality
Follow me to where the darkness leads
This that dead poet society
