After tapping Travis Scott to direct the video for the I Never Liked You opening track “712PM,” Future has now dropped the nautical video for the album’s closing song, “Back To The Basics.”
The X Skeeboe-directed video for the track sees Future take to the seas, with a simple visual that places an emphasis on Future’s delivery and the women he surrounds himself with. The clip follows the release of the previously released I Never Liked You videos, “712PM,” “Worst Day,” “Wait For U,” “Puffin On Zootiez,” “Holy Ghost,” “Love You Better,” “I’m Dat N***a,” and “Massaging Me.”
I Never Liked You dropped back in April, 2022, and earned the rapper his eighth No.1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. He scored 222,000 album equivalent units in the first week of release, and he’s kept the impressive momentum going ever since with several high-profile collaborations. In 2022 he joined forces with the likes of Jack Harlow, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, and most recently, Metro Boomin.
