Rising Memphis rapper Fresco Trey returns with the sentimental new single “Got You.” The candid track comes equipped with booming low end, signature heartfelt vocals from Fresco Trey, and pure heat from breakout rapper charlieonnafriday. It also comes with a incredible video that sees Trey jumping between multiple roles.

On “Got You,” Trey lays his feelings out on a silver platter. In his lyrics he lays down honest confessions over a riff that builds into a lush melody. The accompanying video plays with all of those emotions. Trey and charlieonnafriday mingle at a pool party, where Trey battles for his girl’s attention with various versions of himself — a fitting metaphor for trying to be your best self for your biggest love.

“’Got You‘ was made to unite people more than my past songs,” says Trey. “Where I’m always talking about a breakup, this song was inspired by a relationship that came out of nowhere. “Got You” talks about a relationship that came from the clear blue but was worth millions. I wanted to show my softer side for this song and let it be known that I’m willing to climb mountains for the right one.”

Over recent months, Trey has demonstrated his range with his vibrant and reflective single “Back In My Shell,” “Enjoy It,” with an uncanny talent for marrying otherworldly pop with hard-hitting production and inward-looking lyrics. Trey is one of the most exciting new artists in hip hop. To date, the rising hitmaker has garnered acclaim from Billboard, XXL, Lyrical Lemonade, HotNewHipHop, HipHopDX, and more.

With “Got You,” he shows off an even greater range—and even more promise as one of rap’s great melody-makers.
