Global afrobeats star CKay unveils the official music video for “forever,” a romantic standout from his latest CKay The Second EP, out now via AWAL. Known for his ability to blend heartfelt storytelling into his music, CKay delivers a warm and visually rich tribute to timeless love.
Musically, “forever” blends lush Spanish guitars, rhythmic conga drums, and sweeping violins creating a rich and soulful backdrop for CKay’s vulnerable lyrics. He sings of choosing love always, building a future together, and making lasting memories across the world, from Lagos to Santorini.
Set in a charming rustic village in Mexico, the video captures an intimate connection filled with tradition, emotion, and undeniable chemistry. A vibrant mariachi band makes a joyful appearance, adding an authentic layer to the romantic journey. One of the most striking scenes finds the couple embracing on a grand, scenic balcony, echoing the iconic Titanic moment between Jack and Rose.
