charlieonnafriday, who has amassed nearly 1 billion global streams with his string of irrepressible releases since 2022, serves up a brand new single entitled “Bottle Go Down” out now via Island Records. Watch the equally rowdy music video above. It heralds the arrival of his anxiously-awaited debut album, WILD CHILD, out August 23.

About the single, he commented, “‘Bottle Go Down’ is a classic drinking song, meant to get the crew riled up and ready for a night out. The hook came to be when I overheard a guy at a bar in Nashville say, ‘This bottle is going down like water.’ The next day, I was in the mood to make a fun song, and his words stuck with me. ‘Bottle Go Down’ is the perfect addition to any pregame playlist, and it’s also the last single released before my recently-announced album, WILD CHILD, which comes out on August 23.”

As always, charlieonnafriday’s infectious melodies instantly intoxicate. Airy piano gives way to an upbeat groove ushered along by a pop-country-influenced topline accessible to all audiences. Meanwhile, he jumpstarts the festivities on the verses before pumping up a party-ready refrain, “You know how the bottle goes down…I could drink it all right now.” However, you won’t need a drink in hand for this song to ignite any celebration.

Artist Biography:

Cooking up genre-busting anthems out of a cluttered and cramped Seattle basement, charlieonnafriday (a.k.a. Charlie Finch) unassumingly transformed a high school dream into an impressive reality in D.I.Y.fashion and on his own terms. As he scaled multiplatinum heights, gathered billions of streams, and performed to sold out crowds, he always clung tightly to what brought him to that point in the first place. He makes music with the indisputable integrity surrounded by “day one” friends—fondly known as his “onnafriday” clique. He initially lit up TikTok mid-Pandemic. Inking a deal with Island Records, he ignited the platinum-certified “After Hours” and platinum-certified “Enough.” In between, he collaborated with everyone from Lil TJay to Bankrol Hayden. He also earned acclaim from Billboard, People, and many more. Renowned for unpredictable and undeniable shows, he performed to packed audiences on bills with the likes of Macklemore, Jessie Murph, and Tate McRae. However, everything just set the stage for more music to come in 2024.
