Memphis rising star Fresco Trey returns to share his new single, “Hope.” The melodic and relatable track adds another exclamation point to Trey’s growing catalogue of introspective rhymes that have long resonated with fans. True to its name, “Hope” delivers an uplifting message, inviting listeners to hold onto light even in the face of uncertainty.
Speaking about the new single, Fresco Trey shares: “‘Hope’ is a reminder that your story isn’t over. No matter what you’ve faced, you still have the pen in your hand — and you get to decide how it ends.”
“Hope” marks Trey‘s first release of 2026 and follows the grassroots success of last year’s Meraki (Deluxe) project. This latest offering captures the anticipation of brighter days and the resilience required to keep going. It’s a hopeful anthem for troubled times, underscoring Trey’s ability to merge lived experiences (“I know hard times/I done been there/I won’t break, no I won’t bend”) with sharp storytelling.
Fresco Trey’s rise has been nothing short of meteoric. After spending years developing his craft, which includes shadowing Post Malone on tour in 2019, he signed to Warner Music Group in 2021. His debut EP, Heartbreak Diaries, earned widespread acclaim and was notably followed by the May 2022 sequel Heartbreak Diaries 2. Trey’s creative output maintained a level of consistency over the years, proven repeatedly through his impressive range of singles and unique collaborations, including features with NLE Choppa, K CAMP, Lil Tjay, Vory, and more.
No longer signed to Warner, Trey remains steadfast in his goals and continues his ascent towards superstardom. Having recently toured as a supporting act on K CAMP’s “KISS 6 Tour,” there’s no end to the steady momentum he’s started.

Artist Biography:
Born and raised in Memphis, Trey Davis, professionally known as FRESCO TREY is one of the hottest new talents out of his city. Blending Pop, Hip-Hop, and R&B, he’s praised for his polarizing sound in comparison to his city’s counterparts. Fresco Trey has always had an affinity for music, with him showcasing his musical talent as early as 2 years old. For the longest, music was nothing more than a hobby, having his eyes set on professional basketball. Inspired to fully pursue music by his older sister, he ultimately made his first song in 2018, pivoting away from his hoop dreams. As an independent artist, he dropped several singles that set Memphis ablaze including “Spare Me The Pain”, “Hollywood”, and “Die Young”. In 2020, Fresco Trey dropped his hit record “Feel Good“, and it was met with national acclaim amassing millions of views on TikTok along with millions of streams on various DSPs. The record’s success led to a bidding war between countless labels, which ultimately led him to inking a partnership deal with Warner Records. With the official launch of Fresco the Label, he re-released “Feel Good” in collaboration with multi-platinum recording artist Lil Tjay. With his signature sound characterized by gentle melodies and raw emotion, Fresco Trey‘s music offers a unique perspective on love, loss, and the complexities of fame. In 2021, he released his debut EP, Heartbreak Diaries, weaving together heartfelt ballads and hard-hitting bangers. After the release of Heartbreak Diaries, he released his hit single “Draft Kings,” which landed him a placement on the NBA2K22 Soundtrack. Followed by the release of his 2023 EP Detour, which included notable features from NLE Choppa and Einer Bankz. Since then, Trey has continued to build steady momentum through a string of consistent releases and high-profile collaborations, most recently touring as direct support on K CAMP’s “KISS 6 Tour.” Now independent and more focused than ever, he kicks off 2026 with his uplifting new single, “Hope,” a powerful reminder that resilience and self-belief remain at the core of his artistry. As he continues to turn life’s challenges into anthems of perseverance, Fresco Trey’s ascent shows no signs of slowing down.
