Virginia-based producer Shea Clouds has been releasing lo-fi chill beats since 2019. His current instrumental EP, Chill Slaps, Vol. 1, speaks to relaxed evenings that turn into early morning hours. “Moves” and “After Hours (Moves, Pt. 2)” are of particular note. While they are two unique tracks with separate samples, their similar drum patterns allow them to function as a continuous flowing feel.
The newest EP, Backyard Bits: The Winter Tape, was released on February 11. While always evolving his signature sound, you can expect Shea Clouds‘ vibe to be as chill as the flip side of the pillow, with beats that still slap.
