When talent comes into play, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when you hear the “Dorsey” family name. Roger Dorsey, whose nickname is “Noonie” and his artist name is “CCGG VIEW.” His name came from his first cousin platinum artist “BG” aka “BGizzle,” one of the original “Hotboys” under CashMoney Records who opened up a second record label entitled Chopper City Gorilla Gang. Before BG was incarcerated, he was able to work with his first hip hop/rap group he personally chose the artists himself.
View was one of the first artists to be introduced along with Jigg, Mike D, Rooster and Kutta Birdy. BG started molding his new group in 2009 before he got incarcerated in 2011. The group continued to move forward along with promoting the #freebg hashtag for their “Hood General” in Charge. Loyalty has always been a factor throughout their movement as they continue to represent their label and boss (BG). They dropped their first mixtape entitled Chopper City Still A Army and second Chopper City DBoyz both hosted by DJ Hektik. The group decided to strengthen their solo careers while continuing to promote #freebg. Now BG is free.
As real life situations happen, View was incarcerated for three and a half years. View came out and got back to work in the studio and came out with his first mixtape in 2021 that he recorded himself entitled I Gotta Eat Vol 1 which gained a lot of attention. You can find different videos on YouTube of the group and View‘s solo projects. View continued to promote and build his fanbase but he knew he was missing the key piece to his career.
He decided to move to Detroit to bring his career to the next level by bringing his mother, Carol A Dorsey (Madd Money Entertainment Group) and Big Sweetz (It’s All Raw) into managing his career along with the support from his “Unc” Red (Wideopen Mgmt). More info to come from View. Just keep watching.
