Artist Biography:
Known by his stage name 38 (Thirty Eight) he started rapping in the mid 90s and got inspired by a song from acclaimed singer Patti LaBelle called “Somebody Loves You” which helped him create his unorthodox rap style after seeing so much death and violence in his hometown of Memphis, TN. He gained further inspiration from Memphis based rap group Three Six Mafia, whom he has close ties and friendship with as well as music collaborations.
